I agree, you've done a wonderful job with these Revenants.

Another source for the "retired warhorses" story is from "Captain Gronow", aka Rees H. Granow, who describes the purchase of twelve horses of the Household Brigade, severely wounded at Waterloo, being purchased by the surgeon Sir Astley Cooper. After their recovery, they began to form line, charge, etc. on their own, without riders, and "these manoeuvres were repeated generally every morning, to his great satisfaction and amusement." (The Oxford Book of Military Anecdotes)
