You were asked – TMP link Which of Dr. Who's enemies do you prefer to see on the miniature wargaming tabletop? And in the final round of voting: 44% said "Daleks" 15% said "Cybermen" 3% [TIE] said "Sontarans" OR "Sea Devils" |

I have played my Dr Who game several times where the 'monsters' are randomised, and never got the Daleks (sigh!) |

So Tatiana are killable. Modern Daleks and Cybermen less so |

I have never liked the Daleks for some reason. |

Polls like this tend to produce the same result! Daleks continue to be masters of Earth They are also quite versatile as to where they can be used in time and space, and have auxiliaries such as Ogrons or converted humans. Not so much the case with Cybermen. Incidentally Im puzzled why people bother to vote on polls just to say they are not interested in the question? |

The foregone conclusion polls are interesting for what comes in 2nd or 3rd. Daleks are quite fun and iconic, but not my favourite on the table. Most other enemies can at least use stairs without special dispensation! |

Daleks can hover their way up stairs quite nicely and were seen doing so since 1988, though I suspect they could do so before as you would see them positioned in otherwise inaccessible places. They just werent caught on camera * Doesnt stop the old jokes circulating or indeed tedious geeky reminders from myself and others. * on a balcony inside a country house in "Evil of the Daleks" and halfway up a cliff in a quarry in "Death to the Daleks" I should get out more

You vote to say you don't like it so they can tell interest over the group "tmp readers." Daleks had hovering platforms before rememberance. The 2000s stuff was just stupid, as was/is the show in general. It really just depends on the time the particular Dalek comes from, and how they are equipped. |
