If any USN warships have nukes onboard it would/should be classified … Something that is a consideration. Many nuclear armed missiles, etc. have to be upgraded, refit or replaced. The nuclear material will still be viable. But the tech of the missile many be older, etc. As tech/AI evolves the older systems like any weapon needs to be made more current. By as I said upgrading, refitting and/or replacing …
