After having spent two days feeding the masses, time for some hobby time. Today I have/intend to:
* ordered some Napoleonic French dragoons on foot – why? Everything Napoleonic that I do is the result of the Funckens, those books had a massive influence on my Napoleonic armies (yes, I do know that some of their information/pictures are slightly questionable)
* ordered some MDF bases
* started painting some Heritage 15mm Napoleonettes (middle guard, fresh lead that have only been in my lead pile about 4 years)
* I hope to finish some 15mm Napoleonic Austrian Hungarian fusiliers
* photographing some Scots Covenanter horse for the blog What are you upto today? |

Painting – finishing some half done projects and doing up a "distinguished looking gentleman" for No 3 son's gaming group New Years game (not sure what the gentleman will do, but any excuse to paint up a 18th century noble) Until Monday – then back on the chain gang |

Having a half-day break from younger part of the family. Most of today spent either doing the Radio Times crossword with my wife & eldest or completing and submitting my tax return. Sound dull but a pleasant rest after the screaming chaos that is the younger ones all in the same house for hours. |

For today, we are waiting for the delivery of a washer and dryer that should have come Wednesday but didn't because the dealer's computer system changed the order from a washer and dryer to two washers. For reasons that defy understanding, their system wouldn't let them correct the error, and the only thing to do was cancel the entire order and forfeit our delivery time. I've actually painted half a dozen more figures than I bought this year, so I will be concentrating on a figure conversion, and may actually get it painted before the end of the year. I may clean and prime a few more figures, too. Grelber |
