More inspiration which will no doubt see me chasing more butterflies down rabbit holes.

Same with me. An Osprey on German and Italian tanks in Italy which tempts me toward Italian Semovente in German late-war camo, The Military Kipling, which will bring the TSATF figures in from the garage, and 500 generic microscale tanks which cry out for generic microscale artillery, infantry and armored cars. I should know better.

2 Osprey books. One on Scapa Flow the other on Kriegsmarine support ships. Plus a cool Star Wars book on the battles that shaped the galaxy. A bit eclectic, which I like.

Armies in Southern Russia 1918-19 by Osprey, which I asked for. My daughter said that she was going to buy me a book, and I'd better give her a title or she would just pick something.

The Demon of Unrest by Erik Larson was a gift from my sister in law. My daughter suggested the title. It's about the time period from Lincoln's election to the firing on Fort Sumpter. It should be interesting, and not something that I would buy for myself.

I must have been a bad boy. Not even a gift card from my local game store. I better behave better next year

I got coal. No, but only practical things, nothing fun. I will be warm this winter in my basement soldier room, though, so that is a plus.

Nothing. I buy hobby stuff when I want/need something.

I have only asked for hobby related once; Don Troiani's AWI books a couple years ago.
