Our club has recently published a set of ancients rules, covering battles up until the Middle Ages (we have other similar games systems for that.) It is app-driven, for use in convention-type games and for remote gaming over Zoom. The name is "Blood of Kings & Heroes," and it is based on ADLG (the usual club rules) but has fewer, larger units and a more interactive turn sequence. It's designed for 28mm miniatures, and is intended for recreating historical scenarios. The app makes it easier to learn and helps the games to play faster.
