9am The Moscow Guard Regiment ( actually the Lithuanian Guard changed to Moscow in 1818) stands in square on a very cold Wednesday Dec (14 Julian, 26 Gregorian ) calendar morning having brought there by their company officers of the secret organization Northern Society

After 11am and the stand off continues, Gen Miloradovich goes to try and end this peacefully, but is shot and mortality wounded by Piotr Kakhovskii in the back, his horse carries him away.
Czar Nicolas orders the Horse Guard to end this, the game starts there.

The Horse Guard didn't have a chance against a formed square, so the 2nd Guard light artillery, 2nd Preobrezenzski battalion and 2 Pavlov Guard took their place.
2nd Preobrezenzski had enough with 2 casualties and ran away.
The Guard Jagers are across the Ipontoon bridge seeing if they want to join this rebellion

The Pavlov Guard Regt and Semionovski Guard Regt both tried to clear this with bayonet charges, both failed the first try.
The Naval crew Equipage ran first, the Grenadier Guards got beat down and eventually the Semionovski and Pavlov Guard swept them away.

Leaving the Moscow Guard who started this all alone, with a hopeless situation they run onto the frozen river but artillery fire decimated their numbers

Ending this just as happened in history today

Spent a bit of time for a 2 hour or so game
The buildings no way could be done with justice, and really are there to restrict movement.
The building the Moscow Guard are up against was the Senate building with a wishful should might have played but didn't. The building the Horse Guard is against was the Admiralty, to the right kf that was the Winter Palace.
My dice tower was the St Isaac cathedral being built.
The large horse should be Peter the Great equestrian statue finished in 1789

Great job!

I agree – the buildings turned out wonderfully and fit the theme of the game quite well.
