This person looks female to me, but I do live near San Francisco and I've been to Thailand, so I know that appearances can be interesting. Anyway, I say that because "fellow," at least in American English, denotes a male individual, except in when the person has a fellowship, like at an academic institution. I think she's turned a nail into a spear, which is something I'd expect fairies and pixies and others to do once nails became commonplace. Great strange miniature -- a good find. |

Perhaps a titanium nail, so the ol' bad reaction to iron thing doesn't happen. Or magically protecting his/her self from the effects? I agree that it really does look like a modified nail. |
