Kienmayer Hussar Regiment Number 8

These gentlemen were organised into Brigade G M Mekso, in Hiller's Sixth Corps.

Oberst Graf Franz Banffy leads his men, mainly Hat Brunswick conversions.

I have now completed Sixth Corps, hooray!

Lots to do.

👍

Well you have finished 1 Corp I did. 😉

Now you must move on to the 1st Corp. Then a Grenadier Division and Cuirassier Division. 😉

Followed by Masséna‘s Corp and …… 😉

Yes, I used to be a prolific painter too.

Have fun!

Thank you for your kind encouragement it is most appreciated.

First Corps is nearly completed as is the Cavalry Corps.

Second Corps is progressing well.

Elements of Fourth Corps are finished and I am leaving the Grenadiers until the action is progressed as they did not appear until day two.

If the Austrians do well there may not be a day two!

I am hoping that some of the infantry units as they are destroyed in the fighting can have their facings repainted if necessary to fill in any gaps.

The majority of the buildings are now finished. Pictures to follow in the Aspern thread.

Painting caterpillars is soul destroying.

The French will be drawn from the troops used in Quatre Bras. They will require a little attention and of course new flags.

Lots to do.

Best wishes,

Chris

Enjoy Chris,

I stopped at with 1st and 6th and some misc. for Austrian. After Messena's Corp, I did paint a combo Italian/French Corp with Italian Guard. Then painted multiple Russian Corps, Guard, Grenadiers and Cavalry. A 1813 Prussian Corp and 2 Divisions of Brits at Waterloo. That was the extent of my Napoleonic escapades… I 🤔 think.

I enjoyed your Antietam pictures

If you're luck you might only have to repaint buttons :~)

Another great looking unit.

Cheers,
