"The third battle in the campaign of 1066 is the battle of Hastings, which is the most well known and it had a huge influence on English history. The battle consisted of the Norman forces under the command of William, Duke of Normandy and future king of England vs the Saxons under the command of Harold Goodwinson and his brothers. Historically it followed Stamford bridge where the Saxon were victorious over the Vikings, but in my game the Vikings squeezed out an unlikely win at Stamford bridge, so this battle might not have happened!…"
