"Our great friend and distinguished member of the SHM, Lieutenant Colonel Miguel Domingo Escalante Galain, is creating a diorama depicting Lieutenant Colonel José de San Martín's address to the Mounted Grenadiers moments before the Battle of San Lorenzo. Miguel tells us, "Before beginning the charge at San Lorenzo, San Martín addressed the grenadiers, saying: 'I expect that both the officers and the grenadiers will conduct themselves in a manner befitting the Regiment's reputation,' and subsequently achieved the first victory of this glorious unit." This is a 1:32 scale diorama for the Juan Bautista Cabral Historical Museum in the town of Saladas."…"
