Didn't do much in Europe though. Unlike, say, The Liberator, the P51, The Lancaster, The Spitfire. Even the Dakota can make a meaningful claim to have won the war. |

You can name a dozen types which made critical contributions. In the end it's really hard to argue against the B-29 as the plane which won the war, or at the very least the one which ended it. |
