Since the Pemmican Wars broke out in Canada immediately after the end of the Napoleonic Wars, I thought this would be a good place to start.
The British had two Swiss regiments. Total 1815 British kit, but with the Swiss flags. 👍
Plains Indians!
Trappers and Mountain Men!

But what I am really looking for are genuine Metis figures. 28mm, of course.

Anyone make these? Maybe I should send a picture to the Perry's… 😄

They have a little Seminole vibe to them, so maybe Warlord or OG Seminoles?

Hmmm…. 🤔

Well, I do have a tray of Warlord and Old Glory Seminoles. Not intended as Métis, obviously. But…
And Alan just got back to me laughing, so.,,

RAFM had some good figs but they are out of business

You could use a few of the Pulp Figures Flint and Feather range although the are a little for the Pemmican Wars

The Dixon Courier de Bois figs would work well

Or the Old Glory courier de bois and Canadian militia

link

They are pretty much Metis in French service

RAFM are Riel's rebellion. 1885.
I'm looking for 1815. Obviously, I'm not getting that. Alan Perry, my last and only hope, laughed at me. 😄

I kind of think that that picture is idealized. So, CdB and Seminoles.

It's not exactly like Métis are Old Guard Grenadiers or Early Imperial Roman Centurions.
