When the OFM demands TMP link then what can we do but obey?

I suppose we could ignore.

But today, we obey.

So, what is your favourite CCR song?

Here's a few possibilities:

Will anyone nominate a song from Mardi Gras?

I'm guessing no – unless they are just contrary….

Tough one – on balance, Bad Moon Rising with Fortunate Son as a runner up

"Down on the Corner" was the first one I heard on the radio. Just blew me away. John Fogerty is a national treasure. Such a dynamic range in his voice. He can go from sinister to joyful and everything in between.

I'll second Willie and the Po Boys. But most songs are great.

I still have all the original albums.

I don't think I can name just one. That choice would change day by day, depending on mood, or exposure, or simple whimsy. I could name a half-dozen faves, but never just one.

Lookin' Out My Back Door.

Agree with Old Contemptible. Fogerty's voice was a musical instrument itself.

Hell, I'll vote for them all! And I hope everyone else dies too! Let's warp the space/time continuum and carry this poll into infinite reruns!

Fortunate Son. Holds a special place in my memory and as valid today as it was when written.

"Bad Moon Rising" is another tie-in with the "debate" over An American Werewolf in London.
