Bonjour! I may be moving to Paris within the next 6 months or so, and I'm wondering what the wargaming options are. Also, while I will be learning French, I do not currently speak it, so I'm hopeful that this will not be a disqualifying factor. Thanks!

I'm with Royston Papworth! There is at least one France-based wargaming blog that gets posted here frequently, usually (if not always) by Tango. That might be a resource for you. I'm not sure how much wargaming I'd get into if I actually got to live in Paris. I'd probably have an artist's garret and paint miniatures there, but I think I'd spend most of my time in outdoor cafes, art venues, Montmartre, etc. |

And thanks Oberlindes and Frederick. I do recall seeing their page at some point before. I'll follow up. Hopefully someone from a wargames group will respond. While English is very much the lingua Franca in Paris, I'm particularly concerned that language might be a barrier for something as granular as wargaming. |
