Gavin Rivers Weisenburg, 21, of Allen, and Tanner Christopher Thomas, 20 That's the age for conceiving grand schemes! It's not, however, the age for thinking them through in detail. In addition to the alleged invasion plan, both men are accused of producing child pornography. That's a crime that they were surely capable of committing. And it's a good start to their greater ambitions. I wonder if the Haiti plot will turn out to be something like the famous Steve Jackson Games case back in the 1990s: link |

…if the Haiti plot will turn out to be something like the famous Steve Jackson Games case back in the 1990s… I remember that, though I was no longer associated with SJG by that time. These idiots were putting serious effort towards their plan – but the island has 100,000 residents! If they recruited an army of the homeless, how did they intend to equip them? (Arming the homeless and forming an army is a rather alarming idea…) Did they think if they took over an island, nobody would notice or do anything about it? |

Would have been better to have planned to invade Canada. You could have taken the capital and then traded it for all of northern Ireland…
