Very nice table, mate. I like the fort sections. Are they prints or a commercial item, or do you have a gun scratch-builder in your group?

The links are all bouncing back to TMP. So I was wondering, where in Australia is this event happening?

Can confirm. That was a great looking game. Massive table.

Brisbane.
Dal, nearly everything scratch built, except for a couple of 3d print buildings in the village.

Day#1 & the French are on the back foot. Day#2 should be interesting.
Day#1 and the French are in trouble. Let's wait to see what Day#2 brings.

Excellent work by the person/people who did them, mate. Nicely done figures, too.

So, did the French manage to put up a fight? Or are they blaming their Bavarian allies if things went pear-shaped?

The Battle of Vargemont Ridge is over with a surprisingly hard fought victory to the Allies.
Allied cavalry continued to probe the French line, looking for weaknesses:

The French found new determination and mounted attacks by their valiant infantry:

British, Hanoverian and Prussian infantry succeeded in pushing the French back but not quite off the ridge.

Units and brigades broke but the army of Prince Soubise wasstillin the fight when night fell.

The battle ended in a minor victory for Prince Ferdinand and the Marquis of Granby.

A really enjoyable two full days of gaming at an amazing venue. We've already been invited back for next year's EXPO.
