Looked fine. I like that they start by blaming George Washington for starting the Seven Years War, and didn't try to gloss it over by claiming he couldn't read French. 👍 What do you expect from a 21 year old kid? Wisdom? It also kind of implied, without quite saying it, that perhaps that was the reason why he didn't get an officer's commission. |

Last night's show was the only one I could watch since I will be working the next two months of Sundays, so I skipped it. I'll wait until it comes out on DVD. |

I think it will show in its entirety all week. I'm not sure. But in any event, I'm set to record it all. It will also be streaming. EDIT: I just tried to see the schedule. It's not at all helpful, so your guess is as good as mine. 🤷 |

So it was George Washington who decided to visit Frederick the Great and talk him into starting the 1st world War |

The Limeys and Frogs were the first. George set it off. Austria and Prussia just decided that enough time had elapsed since the last Permanent Peace Treaty and mutually decided that… "You okay, Bro? Shall we?" |

At least on Mississippi Public Broadcasting, it will be on every night this week. I thought the initial segment was well done, as almost all of Ken Burns' endeavors have been. Jim |
