Easy one again: the top head honcho of the 4077 is –

I liked Potter better than Blake, but that may not be where youo are going with this.

Potter, more of a father figure and less of a goofball. But Blake was a lovable goofball.

Potter was regular army. Blake was a reservist at best. May have been a draftee. So Potter. My father was in an EVAC hospital for his tour. Assigning Regular officers to administration position happened a lot.

@Grelber – it's a poll suggestion about a preference between two characters who had the same job in the TV series M*A*S*H that's where I am going with this.

There's no right or wrong answer, you might like Potter because he had a horse. You might like Blake because he had a fishing hat. Either reason is fine.

He should have never left the show. Can't remember anything McLean Stevenson did after MASH.

Apparently he was offered a big pay rise and his own comedy show. It bombed – in later years he admitted it had been a big career error.

But his leaving – with no possibility of return ,- was an iconic episode.

Potter

Stevenson briefly had a show called "Hello Larry." After that nothing.

I vote Blake.

I was going to go "Both Great" but I'm leaning towards Blake.

Potter, came off more like an Officer than Blake did.

As stated earlier, Potter was Regular army and served in WW2. Blake was a part time reservist. Lack of discipline was clear

I'm pretty sure there continued to be indiscipline with Potter. Hawkeye in his dressing gown, Klinger in dresses, two of his Majors having an affair….

Potter all the way.
