I need a special kind of gun nut. Came back from Fall In with a mised lot of microscale artillery--more or less painted, but no ID. Most of it I've managed on my own, but I've got two calibers of field piece painted in the dark green the previous owner used for Soviets with gun shields and box trails. Yes, I know: I'd post a photo if I could. But does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks.

Sounds like either 76.2mm (which was used as AT and arty, the 122 or 152mm Gun. At that scale, it hardly matters. Check Wikipedia for Soviet WW2 artillery, some good pics of the various calibers.

Did you try comparing them to model pictures of Soviet arty on the GHQ website?
