The naval Battle of Dover, also known as the Battle of Goodwin Sands, was fought on the 19th May 1652 and was the first engagement of the First Anglo-Dutch War between the navies of the Commonwealth of England and the United Provinces of the Netherlands, being fought before war had been officially declared.
In this post a friend of mine, and fellow age of sail enthusiast, Capt. Steve, picks up where he left off recreating another of a series of battle scenarios using the rule set General at Sea and his marvellous collection of 1:1200 Anglo-Dutch models.
