During the last year of the Pacific War the Japanese situation became increasingly desperate. The Home Islands were isolated by the U.S. submarine blockade, island garrisons were cut off or eliminated, and USAAF B-29 Superfortress had begun their bombing campaign. Interesting. I had never heard of that before. 👍 Have you gamed it? |

Something that would make a great skirmish game. |

There was an amateur sculpter who made a small range of 15mm Japanese paratroopers at one point in time. Certainly something different to put on the table. |

How interesting and completely new to me. A brave if desperate and largely pointless operation. |

At that stage of the war most Japanese operations were pointless but brave. It could be a fun scenario to game out. |

A brave if desperate and largely pointless operation. "Did we win? Did we fulfill our victory conditions?" 🙄 Pointless question. The Japanese should never take a morale check. If you want to, you can expect them to gain "X" victory points. But then you're dead. 🤷🙄 If you think you did well, you did well. Just kill things and have fun. I would play. |
