As the Uniformenportal contains more than 5,000 images and will further grow I managed to add a AI-generated search site at link

The search first requires to select a country. If no other criteria are set, all images relating to that country will be displayed. However, the other selection criteria are also interesting, namely the restriction to a specific period using a slider and, above all, the multiple selection of units. Infantry, cavalry and artillery are umbrella terms – if you select them, all the fields below will also be selected, and conversely, they will be deselected. However, you can also select individual sub-categories.

The field for the guard has a special status; if this is selected, only guard troops are displayed. This can also be selected on its own and all guard units of a country are displayed. If, for example, grenadiers and guard are selected, the images that have been tagged with both keywords for the country are found.

The new page can be loaded in the uniform portal under the menu item ‘Links' and then ‘Erweiterte Suche'. I don't know whether the automatic translation of the browser add ons will translate the selection fields, if not, I think even the German designation is quite easy to understand.

I hope, this search is a help for your research … greetings from Berlin

Valuable resource – I was able to find useful pictures of Emigre and Royalist units for the 1790s.
