A long overdue terrain project that will finally give my German tables a more Germanic look, rather than more than a passing resemblance to Normandy. These are all MDF kits from Sarissa Precision and, as is my want, all have additional features added to break away from that laser cut MDF look. I think I've managed to achieve that without having to go to a great deal of effort. A full blog post with more details of the build is here: German Farm Buildings

Those look fantastic!

Nicely done. But to tell the truth, adding the beams would have been worth it.

Really well done. I couldn't do that in a million years.

The conversion for the thatched roof is especially well done.

Decebalus' comment led me to seek images of German farm buildings as I had my doubts about the beams being more prominent. Almost every pic shows them flush with the rendering, rather than standing proud, in relief.

The thatched roof is very well done and far easier than teddy bear fur, as I used 20 years ago for the Golden Hall of Edoras.
