The AWI project has seen the recent addition of the 37th (North Hampshire) Regiment of Foot which was first raised in Ireland in February 1702 by Lieutenant-General Thomas Meredyth for service under the Duke of Marlborough, taking part in the Battle of Blenheim in 1704.

The Regiment would later take part in the Battle of Minden in August 1759, where 54% of the regiment were either killed or wounded, and further honours were added to the regiment's history in the American War of Independence, where it would see action at the Battle of Long Island, Brandywine, Germantown, Monmouth and Yorktown.

Hi Chaps,
Thank you for your comments, much appreciated.

Perry's are such nice sculpts to paint and GMB flags are the perfect way to finish off the look.

I'm really looking forward to getting the toys out on the table for next year's big anniversary, with an eye towards 2027 in particular.

Cheers
JJ
