Last of the figures completed for Partizan, hopefully have a game report up by the weekend. Apologies I am a bit behind!

Your figures have a great deal of "Character" to them. Great job!

Your work is amazing! The Soviet-Polish War (1920 as opposed to all the other Russo-Polish wars) is fascinating and not very well know in the English language. I live outside Buffalo, New York, which has a huge Polish-American population. My church, in a very old Polish neighborhood, has a social club among the several buildings that make-up the property. The social club is decorated with several murals depicting events from the war that were painted at the time of the war.

Nice anecdote Red Jacket!

RogerC, like the others have said, you really know how to pull out the character with your painting. I don' quite understand the technique, as I've always been more of a 'technical painter', certainly not paint-by-the-numbers, but certainly admire your successful style.

At the moment, I'm in a love/hate relationship with the biggun' figs – I know people love 'em, but they 'choke off' a lot of battlefield gaming potential in our area, and many of those admiring the big figs paint very slowly, so we have sparse tables with lonely skirmish games a lot here.

Of course, you're painting for a convention, and no doubt what will be a great-looking presentation too – one (as in myself, have learned)……..never argue with success! :)))

Thank you all for the great feedback, the thing is that the painting is a massive part of the hobby for me, how I relax and switch off. I am also very keen to capture some character so really pleased that has come through. I should eb able to share images from the actual show/convention by the end of the weekend so will make sure they are posted on here.

Cheers Jim, I am happy with them.

I thought your game was one of the most appealing at Partizan actually, partly because it was something different from the usual periods we see. And the brown you used on the rifles looked fine.

Cheers volleyfire, really appreciate that, especially the rifles!
