I don't use twine, but last week I stole a centimetre or so of thread from my wife's hobby supplies to make a strap for a converted 15mm figure.

Jute twine cut into short pieces makes great hay and straw.

Nope, rarely use twine, but more often wire, or synthetic bristles.
