I'm not an Ancients player, well not since the 80's anyway.

But I see all the talk on various sites and at conventions about the above rule sets.

So, for you Ancients players what are the differences between the two above sets? Pros and Cons?

Just asking for a friend.

ADLG is probably the most popular set of competition rules in the UK and Europe right now, so a lot of people use those rules. On Bloody ground is new to me so I have not drilled down into them yet, however this review may prove useful;

I do like the rules books and they would look good on anyone's book shelve.. My only issue is there are a lot of white spaces, so you may need to flip though many pages if you want to use them as a reference document during a game. It does have an index, which is good. However this is pretty much the case with almost all ancient rules, including ADLG, so is not really a competitive disadvantage.
