I would be happy for figure recommendations for either. |

The choice depends on whether you need 28mm tabletop miniatures of fantasy riders (Wild Hunt) or are interested in a specific song about ghostly cowboys ("Ghost Riders in the Sky"). For 28mm miniatures, the Scibor "Wild Hunters" set is available from Element Games, while Johnny Cash's version of "Ghost Riders in the Sky" is a famous recording link

Oooh. I like those Warhammer figures, even though they're probably out of my wallet. I found Odin's 8 legged horse Shlepnir on Etsy. As for the music and song, I've never heard a bad rendition. I like Vaughn Monroe. Damned cowboys would be wonderful too. I have two (!) Headless Horsemen who would fit fine. |

" As the riders loped on by him he heard one call his name If you want to save your soul from Hell a-riding on our range Then cowboy change your ways today or with us you will ride Trying to catch the Devil's herd, across these endless skies!" And the European version has a similar meaning. Is very Sisyphus like. Condemned to a task you will never accomplish. So, yeah. I need figures. 😄 |

And the cheezey charm of Sha Na Na's cover, complete with interpretive dance! YouTube link |

I saw Sha Na Na live, back in the 70s. At least I think I did. 🤔🙄 But it was the 70s after all. I don't remember that number. 🤷 I thought nothing could beat Johnny Horton on there's Sullivan show, with the Peter Genaro dancers reenacting the Battle of New Orleans. I was wrong. YouTube link |
