Work has progressed with my AWI project, seeing the addition of Smallwood's 1st Maryland Continental Regiment to the collection.

The 1st Maryland was organised in the spring of 1776 under Colonel William Smallwood in time to join Washington's army defending New York and the regiment would gain lasting fame during the Battle of Long Island almost single handedly covering the retreat of the army against overwhelming British and Hessian forces and establishing the legend of the Maryland 400.

The Maryland and Delaware troops were top notch, all things being relative of course. Excellent work. I might suggest widening the blog page a bit and in turn increasing the font just a smidge. Would make the longer articles a bit more easer on the reader I think.
