How did the Easter Island statues get from their quarry source to their location on the coast? As the natives always said, they walked! link It's a convincing argument, and fits all the evidence in place— and it's a brilliant solution by the ancient natives. (I've done similar things with large heavy objects— you probably have too.) |

I saw that on a History Channel show about UFO's and possible alien influence on humanity in the far past (no, not "Ancient Aliens"), how the statues "walked" into their resting sites. It made perfect sense and was ingenious. |
