Great story. What a commander!

The accompanying painting (supposedly of the battle) appears to have an additional American flag on one of the British vessels, flying above the Union Jack. The blue field is present, but obscured. I admit to being ignorant of all flags used by the British Navy, but an on-line search has failed to turn up anything remotely similar.

Sadly, I wanted to find ships for the Continental navy but they just don't seem to exist. Just not interested in doing the Napoleonic/War of 1812 wars.

There are a (very) few Continental ships available from NavWar (assuming they are still available).

Just the Bon Homme Richard, Oliver Cromwell and Hancock.
