You were asked – TMP link This has run for about 600 episodes, and they feature about 3 restaurants per episode, so… have you ever eaten at an establishment that had been featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives? 41% said "yes" 25% said "never heard of the show" 23% said "no" 11% said "don't know"

As noted, they only do places convenient to major airports. If the best drive-in in the country was 90 minutes from a major airport, you'd never know about it from this show.
