Here are some pics of my Spartan Greeks. Both hoplites & helots as well as an allied contingent. Most of the hoplites are Old Glory with the allied contingent being Essex. The helots are mostly Essex. Almost all of these I bought already painted. But they all needed a lot of touch-ups, and I re-painted all of the shields. Flickr Album:

The Spartans are all intermingled with allies? The colors aren't very obvious in the pic above, but I do see lambda blazons scattered among the rear units. That implies "Spartans" to me, but not much else to go by. Plus the command stands in the middle. PS: Oh, I see more details on the Flickr link. Got it now! Good luck with these bad boys! |
