Just read an interesting study about the amount of kinetic energy delivered downrange from various firearms

For Napoleonic muskets, after about 100 metres not much and after 200 metres zilch

The SA-80 slightly beat out the M-4 and AK-74

The most energy delivered downrange at 500 metres was the trusty old SLR (about double most current battle rifles)

First comment after all that info:
"They just nerfed pistols even more, now they are, from point blank, a three shot *** kill. "

Made me laugh a little.

This is about weapons in a game NOT a reality.

Of much interest, but personal messages in response seem impossible. I got nine today, some backdated two weeks and I have tried all day to reply.
