I just completed work on a box of Wargames Atlantic Afghan Cavalry. Like the rest of WA's range, these were a pleasure to assemble and paint. Pictures on my blog here:

Thanks for giving it a look!

They look really good. I've not put WA stuff together before, do they give you more flexibility than (for example) victrix?

Beautifully done. My Afghan cavalry are Old Glory figures…very rough looking characters.

I can't answer that Korsun, since I have no experience with Victrix. :) With a 24- or 30- person infantry box, I bet one could make close to that number of unique models. Boxes tend to NOT include any bases, so keep that in mind.

In my experience, the boxes tend to pretty interchangeable – it has been easy to use heads, arms, etc from one set with torsos and legs from another. It's a strong product line.

Have 2 boxs of those that haven't been done, yet. Already have 20 Old Glory Afghan cav so it might be a while. WA is pretty flexible on the figs. I have lots of leftovers from their sets.
