Great report but I do think that, great tank as it is, a Churchill is not a one on one match for either a Tiger or a Panther – mostly due to the Churchill's main gun |

It was a trial – to be sure! Phil was keen to try this scenario, but I think a big gun is better than great armour most times. As I said, the best overall tanks have a more even mix of gun and armour! |

A I never battle doesn't bother me, combat isn't often a 50 /50 chance. It was worth a try as Churchills probably had to face a Panter or two. |

Indeed 14Bore, I was wondering if using the Mk VI with only armour 8 would play differently? the points system would make the Germans much less formidable!!! |
