korsun0 & Andrew +1/ea. Tube FA is still around even if missiles and rockets are increasing on the battlefield. E.g. HIMARS, M270, ATAMS, etc. IMO the USMC's reorganization still seems to be lacking. E.g. turning in all their MBTs. Having USMC units armed with anti-ship missiles. When was the last time USMC units engaged ships at sea ? IIRC Early WWII, but I still don't see that as a modern USMC mission. |
