I know Gunner Dunbar was driven away, but I notice Bunkermeister seems to have also suddenly stopped posting. Just wondering if he is alright. I enjoy reading his and Gunner's posts. |

The only person who can "drive people away" is Dear Editor. 😄 Belive me, I should know. Being accused by certain individuals of not quite being 100% in the tank for a different Fearless Leader, and being accused of TDS on a continual basis certainly didn't "drive me away". And me disagreeing with my accusers certainly hasn't driven them away.
One particularly toxic dude who called me a liar was simply stifled. He doubled down on me being a liar, but has recently denied it ever happened. 🤷 I don't miss his insights. I can handle disagreement. Personal attacks, not so much. There is no reason to tolerate that degree of hostility. Another guy in the TDS accusation squad just plain makes up statistics. But, no personal attacks. He amuses me. So, nobody in that particular political circular firing squad has been driven away. In fact, I'd miss them. They amuse me, except for the stifled dude. Seriously though, I never saw any pressure on either of those gentlemen who you mentioned. One I never heard of (my bad? 🤷) and the other likes hot women. I've seen many people who I enjoyed leave here of their own volition. And I haven't seen any Dawghouse victims in a long time, nor Locked Accounts. |

There was a post about "somebody" dominating the Australian input to TMP. Another person quickly pointed out that the first poster was talking about Gunner Dunbar. And, yes, since then, I have seen little of Gunner Dunbar. I can only guess that he saw this and decided to discontinue posting. So far as I know, there is no quota limiting the number of posts Australians can post, so whether he posted one a week or 73 times, it made no difference, except for bringing up a lot more posts if you were signed up for "wargaming in Australia" only. Pity. Admittedly he was one of several whose posts loaded slowly, but he frequently had good information or inspiring photos. Bunkermeister seemed to post daily, and sometimes it was interesting to me, sometimes not. I could say the same thing about almost everybody else. A couple years back, he lost his platform and switched to a different one, which sounded like it might not be his "forever home;" perhaps he is getting something new set up. Grelber |

Too bad, if Gunnar was driven away it was by the person complaining about his number of posts in the Australian board. I read the back and forth despite not having any dog in that hunt and felt Gunnar was being unfairly maligned. If he left because of that detractor, it is unfortunate. |

IF he was "driven away" in that thread, it was by someone who gives me a difficult time trying to find a coherent thought in his ramblings. 🤷 |
