Here are some pics of my Saracen/Arab army. These were a slog as most of them were bought in a state if dis-repair. Although I got them at good prices, they took a ton of time for repainting and rebasing. They are an opponent for my Mongols and a local friend has crusaders they could fight.

Wow! That is a huge army! I was just looking into building a Saracen army for Saga last night, which would have had less than 50 figures, and wondering if I really want to put in the effort and expense. This is quite impressive, and I notice it is also colorful. Oh, yeah, and it has lots of horses. Lots and lots of horses!

An army fit to conquer the world for Allah.

That is one h*ll of an army. Very well done.

Very nice! Well done on putting in all the obvious effort to achieve such an impressive army!

Those look familiar, are they Minifigs…?

There might be some Minifigs, but I think most are Essex and Old Glory. I could be wrong, I bought most already painted, although they were in pretty bad shape and required a lot of repainting and/touch up.

Greiber, I find 15's so much quicker to paint, with 28's I have to spend a ton of time shading, highlighting, and picking out details. Not to mention getting eyes right. With 15's I generally get the paint in the lines and then ink. Maybe shields take a bit but I can tear through 15's.

Good luck with the Saga project.
