Should there be a headline standard for things advertised as printable? Yes, you can print on paper but 3D printing is now a thing. Adding "3D" is only two more headline characters! |

Yeah, I hate that too. I think it's going to continue to be a problem. Because some paper models that are sold as pdfs are technically 3D. There are plenty of ways to make this perfectly clear, but people do not take the time. So we can commiserate, but the confusion will go on. People just don't care to communicate properly. Just look through the thread titles on TMP. Some are clear, some are vague, and some are completely hopeless. People get mad when you misunderstand them, but they don't take the time to be understood. No one is worse at this than the people who make some of the most creative stuff. So we're just going to have to click through to see if the product is what we're looking for. |

Not clear what you're on about, as we already say '3Dprintable' for 3Dprintable models in Hobby News. Or do you mean on the forums? We use "Printable" for paper models, even if they can be built into 3D models. |
