So I was looking for a domestic supplier of Wargames Foundry sable brushes, which I like very much and was due to get a fresh set.

So after a bit of searching, I found that Badger Games had most of the Foundry sets in stock and they were in the U.S.

So I went to order the basic brush set, and as soon as I fill out all the info. and click "Order", I immediately get sent to a page saying, "We're sorry, this item is not in stock." No order confirmation, no redirect to an order number, just "This item is not in stock."

Then I go and check my bank account, and the full amount of the brush set and shipping has been deducted from my bank account.

So now I can observe that I have a problem. Badger Games has debited my money, but I've been told by them that the item I wanted to buy is not in stock.

I go to their online form and explain in four or five clear paragraphs what happened, and could they please look into this, and let me apply what was already debited from my account towards another brush set that they have in stock.

Doesn't seem too complicated so far right? So three days goes by. Three days. I don't get a single, solitary word of reply to my online form inquiry. Not a word.

Then suddenly on day four or five, I suddenly get an email saying my order is being processed and prepared for shipment! For a paint brush set that THEY TOLD ME was not in stock. So now apparently the brush set IS in stock.

Two more days goes by. Still not a single word of reply to my online form inquiry. No communication.

Another day and I get another email from Badger saying that my order is shipped – for a paint brush set they told me was not in stock.

I eventually got the paint brush set, and to be fair I will report that Badger Games packs their brushes very well and they arrived in excellent condition.

HOWEVER – BADGER GAMES – FOLKS – All due respect, but why do you have an online form available for customers to fill out if you're not going to respond to it? What's the point?

Secondly, it seems that what happens with your shopping cart is that if you order an item of which there is only one in stock – What it does is, the moment that you click "Order" it tells the customer, ME that it's not in stock – BECAUSE I JUST ORDERED THE LAST ONE! This is absolutely insane.

Whatever is going on with your cart, that has to be fixed. If your system tells me "sorry, it's not in stock" I'm going to assume it's not available to me, NOT that I ordered the last one and then get a message telling me you don't have it! If there's ONE LEFT IN STOCK, and I order it, IT'S NOT OUT OF STOCK FOR ME. It's out of stock for the NEXT guy who tries to order it!

Thanks for the nice packaging with the brushes, but wow guys.

Hmmm. Kinda weird. I've always had a good exchange with them. Glad to hear you got your order though.
