Far fewer know about the Lost Battalions of World War II. In both the European and Pacific Theaters, soldiers with the 36th Infantry Division – part of the Texas Army National Guard – found themselves cut off from their comrades and in need of rescue…"

I always enjoyed reading about the Russian battalions fighting with the French on the Western front.
