Just watched this documentary. Not what I expected, but interesting nonetheless. Gerry Anderson is, of course, the producer behind many sci-fi shows – Space: 1999, Thunderbirds, XL5, etc. I expected the documentary to be about Gerry's professional life, but it actually focuses on his personal life: his upbringing, his three marriages and children, and his Alzheimers. They had audio of Gerry discussing his life, and used AI to create video to make it look as if he was speaking. It was an interesting technique, but the video was repetitive. |

For my generation (born in the 1950/60s) in the UK, Gerry was central to our TV viewing. I most enjoyed the machinery . martin |

Thanks. I'll put it on my list. I only saw Fireball XL-5 and Stingray as a boy, and wasn't aware of all of his other goodness until much later. |
