Not sure which is more worrisome That the Aussies have so many workable old tanks Or that the drivers seem so relaxed and comfortable driving them Thanks for sharing! |

I catch "Workshop Wednesday" every week, thanks. Frederick, a little perspective here. Aussies with tanks are not worrisome. Koreans with cars are terrifying. In the words of my Korean driving instructor to my entire class "do not drive in my country: you will be killed." |

I'm sure the photo at bottom came from a police traffic camera. Tickets in the post. Other countries recently did it bigger, but at least there are some flags, in front of the sole spectator. I'll hold judgement until I see NZs attempt, unless the "landed" boat was part of it? |

I got to the Running of the Tanks in Virginia once. (Pretty sure that's not the official name. Private club near Quantico.) But this about two grades up. |

Hello Robert – having been to Oz I have no doubt about the driving abilities of Aussies – which are excellent – it's what they plan to do with the tanks when they get to where they are heading! |

it's what they plan to do with the tanks when they get to where they are heading! "Six Heming's, a dozen dimmies and a large chips. And this time put chicken salt on the chips or else!" |

"I have no doubt about the driving abilities of Aussies – which are excellent " Tell that to the guy sharpening his chainsaw. Your on the limit, and people wiz by, late for their funeral. That with chairs dotted all along the highway and a roo or emu, that you see, frequently standing, ready to pounce. A semi around a bend with double whites it the worst. |
