Anything in black, with such great highlights is an outstanding result

Beautifully done, and your horses are spectacular.

Nicely done – and if you think about it, very pragmatic uniforms especially for Napoleonic (you can dye any colour coat black if you try often enough) – especially like that salty old Jaeger commander

Fantastic job

I think Lutzow's, and other Prussian/German units, wore black because it was plentiful and cheap in north Germany during early 1813.

And those are some very nice paint jobs. Thanks for sharing!

Absolutely beautiful painting as always.

I believe that the black uniform was used as it was cheap to dye and covered up other colours as well.

I was wondering if the hornist should have his shoulder badges filled with red stripes similar to the trumpeter?

Excellent work.

Best wishes,

Chris
