Went along to this annual show.
I should have taken pictures, sorry.
Tom Ballou was there representing the states with his Moby dick game. Lots of folk enjoying that.

The show is on three floors
Ground floor packed full of traders and access to a nice sunny outside for sandwiches and sunning.
First floor lots of traders and some games.
Second floor lots of big games and a bring and buy. the games on this floor were all very nicely displayed and interesting. Good standard. A nice walk around with sunlight and carpets. Excellent.

The upper two floors are part of the viewing area for the horse racing course and so had a full glass wall. Once again super.

Easy and free car parking. Toilets good too.

My one disappointment is those games that pack up at 3pm. Far too early.

Assuming it is on next year, I recommend this as a day out. I have been attending for over 50 years.

Well done Reading club.

I went this year for the first time ever, it's been on the bucket list for a long time. Took a gaming friend along who kindly paid for the overnight hotel on Saturday night, and we both thoroughly enjoyed the show. The ground floor is a bit hard on the feet I thought, but you can't have everything. Also the hot beverages were a bit sluggish at being produced, but that's a minor issue. Had a great fun game on the Baccus stand with Peter's Battle of Lens game, a very bloody affair as he predicted. I hope we will be back again in the future. Recommended.

I always enjoyed trading there (apart from getting concussed by a bungi but that's another story). And it always seemed to be sunny. Happy days.

Colours is consistently one of the best shows south of Newark. Newbury Racecourse Grandstand is a great location, there's stacks of free parking and the whole event is always really well managed. Wide range of traders and some very good looking games.

Discussing this last night with my fellow traveller, his POV agreed with you Connaught, he only felt that the B&B could have been spread out a bit further as there was acres of empty floor space and it was about 3 deep most of the time with punters trying to see what was on offer. TBH I gave up trying to get to the front for a butchers..
