You were asked – TMP link I always put a drop of dish-washing liquid (soap) into my brush water. I don't remember why any more, but I read this tip in some magazine and have been doing it for years. What do you put in your brush water? 75% said "none of these/no opinion" 8% said "liquid soap" 7% said "other (explain)" |

Here's a somewhat different take on this. We get the large jugs of Softsoap that go in the little pump dispensers. After we get out most of the soap (there is always a little that is to much trouble to get out), I fill the jug with hot water and give it a few shakes. That jug goes on the painting table and is used to refill the painting water cups (shaving cream lids). |

I used to put a drop of detergent in, but since I discovered brush soap I don't bother |
