Have CWC2 and FFoT3 but don't have much experience with them yet so have no idea how they will handle Vietnam. Boocoo Fire Mission looks interesting, I like the other rules I have from Ostfront Publishing. Looking for a set of rules tailored to the uniqueness of the conflict, handling things like air assaults, fire base sieges, urban warfare, jungle fighting, air support, etc. Riverine warfare would be a nice bonus but not required. One stand is a squad for infantry, but would go down to fire teams if need be. Vehicles and artillery at 1:1. Any suggestions welcome. |

I am also doing 6mm Vietnam. Got a bunch of STLs and figure to use some GHQ figs too. Boocoo Fire Mission seems worth trying out. It has some interesting things in it. Not sure what else might be a good fit for 6mm and multi fig bases. Thanks. John |

Stephen, CWC2 is most likely Cold War Commander 2. If I recall correctly, it is a variant of Blitzkrieg Commander which is a WW2 ruleset that incorporates some of game mechanics of Warmaster. As to the original question, there are some rulesets out there that specifically try to capture the aspects of the conflict. Some of these could be used with 6mm figures. One that comes to mind is Men of Company B by Peter Pig. It would probably be best for the more asymmetrical COIN aspects of the war. For firebase assaults or the battle of Hue, you could use a more traditional ruleset. |

I've written outlines/summaries of many of the most popular rule sets here: link I think From the Delta to the DMZ is what you're looking for. |
