If I were silly enough to spend a small fortune on 40K Chaos Space Marines, I might. But I'm not. 😄 I was fully intending to name a full Irish town figures after Clancy Brithers or Dubliners' songs.
I even named the brutal British commander in my "Rescue Roddy McCorley" game MacAlpine.
Many of my Comanches have names. Buffalo Hump in Particular. But all of them? Wes Studi could, or the late Graham Greene might, but I don't think they were wargamers. |

I was burned once when "they" made my GW stuff obsolete.
I wouldn't put it past them to do that with Chaos Space Marines, and then bring back totally different unacceptable figures in the one following.
"These are not the Space Marines you are looking for."

My SYW commanders and Boxer Rebellion commanders get names Don't have any Chaos Space Marines – I do name the squad commanders for the regular type Space Marines for games but the name of the squad leader is the name of the squad |
